Dandelions
The large group of police officers huddled together. Tears in the eyes and coffee stained teeth, pulsing smiles abound. It’s not every day you find a 2-year old toddler 30 miles from home. Clouds clearing, drawing creatures, birds singing, and a light breeze accentuates the joy. But unease remains. And it’s contagious. Like anxiety steeped in darkness.
